Merry Christmas!
We had a great Tennessee Christmas. Santa was good to the girls and we hosted the Shyblosky family at our house for lunch.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. This is what we woke up to. The first white Christmas in Nashville in 17 years. We ended up with almost 2 inches by the end of the day.

Mimi and Papa gave Emily her first baby doll stroller. It was a hit with both girls.

Come on Emily, SMILE!

YAY!

2:30 in the aftermoon. It continued to snow through the night and Sunday.

Santa Clause!

Yesterday we went to see Santa Clause. This was our 2nd time to see him. Riley loves him and is always excited. Emily had no problem the first visit, but this time she did not want to be put down. Oh well.
As most of you know, Riley is losing teeth and Emily is cutting teeth. Both girls are cutting their two top teeth at the same time. Our theme this year is...All I Want for Christmas is My 2 Front Teeth.

Halloween!

Well, as you all know, Halloween was on Sunday this year. Our day was spent going to church, Sonic lunch at the park, and naps. After a great dinner made by Mimi, Mom and Emily went Trick-or-Treating and brought home alot of candy. No one could resist my cute little sister dressed up like a giraffe. Dad and I stayed home and passed out candy while we danced to Hannah Montana music videos.

Yay!

Yay!

Yay!

Pumpkin Patch!

On afternoon after preschool, Mom took us to the local United Methodists Church to pick out a pumpkin. I had a great time. Emily did not. She was tired.

I think...

this one!

I like this one!

Who's idea was it to sit me in this itchy hay with my overly excited big sister!
We Love Boobies!

On Saturday, October 9th, Mom and Emily walked 3 miles in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in honor of Grandma. She is a 1 year survivor of breast cancer. Emily raised $110.00 from friends and family to donate. Mom says it took her 45 minutes to push Emily through the 3 mile course.

Finish Line!

Walking 3 miles is tiresome!

We love you Grandma.
Lazy Sunday!

A few weeks ago, we skipped church and went out to the great fall weather. We went to a state park and saw the leaves changing colors. Dad treated us to lunch at the lodge on the lake.

As always, Mom and Dad found us some swings. What girl doesn't enjoy a good swing!

Apple Pickin!
We went apple pickin this weekend. Due to the heat this summer, all the apples had been picked early. So we missed it, but we enjoyed an apple slush and visiting with family.

Mimi with Emily and Riley. Go Vols!

Cousins! It's amazing we got them all to sit still for 5 seconds.

Love this!

Growing Up!
Last week was busy of course. Here is a little idea.

First time sitting up in the shopping cart. It's a whole new word.

"Wow Riley, that is soooo cool!" says Emily.

Emily's gears are stuck in reverse. She traveled from this toy to the love seat, scooting on her tummy.

Watching for Riley to get off the school bus.

Next drummer in the family? Just like Grandad and Uncle Jonathan.

First Week of School!

Sorry for the delay in postings. Our camera broke over the 4th of July. We got a new one the night before the first day of school. So here we go. August 2nd was the first day of school and Riley was excited to see her teachers and friends. She is still in Mr. Smotherman's class. Mrs Klahn and Mrs. Waldorf are both there. Riley's little friend Wyatt, who had to miss the last 2 months of school due to surgery also returned.

Daddy teaching something bad!
Before we know it, they will be doing this on there own.

New agenda! Riley also verbally said Her teachers name on Tuesday!

Due to my new work schedule, Riley gets to ride the bus home.

Our air conditioning went out Wednesday night, so although it was fixed on Thursday, it was still hot. Daddy took us out to eat for Japanese. The girls loved watching the chef cook in front of us.

4 Months Old!

On Tuesday, emily turned 4 months old. She went to her well-check on Wednesday. Emily weighed in at 16 lbs. 15 oz. and Dr. Kirshner said she is developementally ahead a little bit. He had no concerns. She is doing well. Emily also started cereal Tuesday night. She gagged on the first bite, which I expected, but each bite got better.

First bite!

UGH! YUCK! GAG! SPIT!

Swallow!

Riley was sooooo excited!
